I made this today and I am so proud of my photoshopping skills.

First soccer game

Today was Bella's first official soccer game, and it could not have been cuter! The kids all get a chance to warm up and practice before the game starts. The game is divided into 6 four minute periods, and three kids from each team play at one time. There are no goal keepers, or positions, and no score is supposed to be kept... the main focus at this is teaching kids some of the fundamentals and to have fun. Bella's team was just too cute for words. One boy played holding a stuffed rabbit, and one kid took the ball and kicked it all the way out of our field on to another teams field and kicked it in their net. So, Bella got to start the game, and didn't want to run at first. It took her a minute to start running and to get into it, but she got the hang of it. She even got the ball a time or two, and did not do bad with it.

Soccer and Swimming

We signed Bella up for the Pray Before You Play Soccer League at our friend's church (Stockbridge United Methodist). Soccer was suppose to start today, but because of the terrible weather the kids did not get to play this morning. It wasn't all gloom and doom though, because they did get their uniforms and and Bella got to see some of her friends also playing in the league. She's on a team called the Aqua Dragons, and next Saturday morning they play the Red Cardinals. We might see some Mia Hamms and David Beckhams in the making next week... or they might all just run around and pick their noses.We'll just have to wait and see.

This afternoon we had our usual Saturday swim class and Bella is starting to improve, if only I could get her to stick her whole head in the water, we's be doing so well. I took some pictures today.

Bella's new room

Grandma and Grandpa were kind enough to buy Bella a pretty Disney Princess bedroom set. This started a whole makeover of her room. The room is now very girly, pink, and as Patrick and I like to say, it looks like Walt Disney himself vomited in the room. We're very proud of the room, and she absolutely adores it.
